Pro12 Awards: Dan Biggar eletto miglior giocatore dell’anno

Ieri sera a Edimburgo ha avuto luogo la serata di gala in cui sono stati consegnati gli “Oscar” del torneo celtico 2013/2014, i RaboDirect PRO12 Awards. Al Lyceum Theatre di Edimburgo i riconoscimenti più importanti sono andati a Dan Biggar (Ospreys) che ha vinto il premio di miglior giocatore dell’anno battendo Nikola Matawalu e Ruan Pienaar mentre Jonny Gray (Glasgow Warriors) ha fatto suo il premio di miglior giovane.
Coach dell’anno è invece Rob Penney (Munster) mentre premi speciali sono andati a Leo Cullen e Brian O’Driscoll, i due monumenti del Leinster che lasceranno il rugby giocato a fine stagione.
